POSITION: SUPERVISOR ELECTRICAL

Duties and Responsibilities:
.Directs and controls a team of electrical technicians, responsible for the maintenance of Electrical equipment installed in the petrochemicals complex and Utilities and Offsite plant of YANSAB, including the provision of technical and administrative guidance to contract technical staff. The electrical installations in the plant includes but not limited to 40MVA Gas turbine Generators associated with its EX-2000 excitation system and generator control / protection system, emergency generators, 33/6.6 KV power distribution system associated with GIS switch gear, UPS, Variable frequency drive motors, HV and LV motors, Electrical Integrated Control system, GE Multiline protection relays etc.

• Directs and supervises the installation, maintenance, repair and testing of electrical equipment in the assigned area of responsibility to provide an efficient maintenance service to operations.

• Evaluates maintenance needs and priorities in the area of responsibility.

• Ensures adequate availability of spare parts, materials, tools and equipment, creates material master requests with necessary information to the engineers for materials ordering.

• Participate in the review of Preventive maintenance program and recommends necessary changes from time to time.

• Reviews work notifications, work order management and maintains full equipment history in CMMS.

• Co-ordinates daily with personnel of other disciplines within the division, Operations, and the company supervisors for general maintenance work.

• Direct and supervise the execution of the electrical minor changes in accordance to company’s standards.
