Post: Higher Technical Officer (Drilling) – Jan., 2012 – Till Date
Specific Duties;
• Interpretation of the geophysical investigation/survey report prior to the drilling processes.
• Supervision of mobilization and demobilization of drilling equipment and their accessories.
• Supervision and checkmating the activities of other subordinates.
• Analysis and correlation of formation characteristics with drilling rate.
• Determination of an appropriate drill bit for the drilling of different formations encountered during borehole drilling.
• Borehole logging and preparation of its Lithological descriptions
• Assessment and comparative study of thin fractures and aquifers in respect to their yield or production.
• Co-ordination of the procurement and installation of temporary, permanent PVC Casings and Screens.
• Supervision of borehole development/well completion.
• Oversight of the routine maintenance of drilling tools and the rig.
• Collation and preparation of routine and annual report of the work done.

• Operation of B80 Atlas Copco Rig for borehole (Water Well) drilling in both basement complex and sedimentary regions.
