Execution Engineer: 4.5yrs exp in Oil & Gas Construction sector (Mechanical)

Aiming for (Site/Execution/Field/Project/Mechanical/Piping) Engineering positions in Mechanical Construction Companies and Project Management Consultancies, preferably in Refinery/Oil & Gas Construction Field.

• 4years & 6months experience in Execution of Fabrication & Erection process for Pipeline (IBR non-IBR), Structural, Equipments; Boiler Installation and facilitation of Plant Commissioning activities in Refinery/Oil & Gas Construction field - Mechanical.
• Currently associated with TechSteel Engineering Contractors, Kochi.
• Demonstrated Expertise in:

 Construction Management: Involving planning and execution of Fabrication process including fit-up and welding; Erection procedure preparation and execution of rigging and erection process of structural, pipelines (IBR & non-IBR), and equipments.
 Pile foundation construction and load test for the same for boiler stack. Supervised the Civil foundation construction for Mud-drum, Water-wall tubes and structural columns.
 Resource Management: Involving material availability confirmation for work-front creation and economical deployment of man power.
 Administrative command on work force ensuring efficient progress realisation in compliance to all QA/QC and HSE policies.
 Welding process and procedure for piping and equipment erection; Overseeing NDT (RT DPT, SR), pre-heat and post-heat activities & pressure testing procedures required as per contract/Engineer-in-Charge instructions.
 Problem solving and troubleshooting ability with regards to design incongruence to site conditions, and confident execution of modifications to rectify such problems.

• Sound knowledge of fit-up techniques practiced for pipes and pipe fittings & structural; Quality aspects in fabrication and welding which are to be conformed to.
• Thorough understanding of Plot Plan, Plan Drawing, Isometric Drawing, and General Arrangement (GA) Drawing. This encompasses execution of project as is practicable within site conditions and limitations..
• Hands on experience in WPS, PQR conformance; Visual inspection of weld joints; Interpretation of RT films for welding defects in piping. E-7018, E-7018-1, NiCr-03, E-8018.
• Knowledgeable in crane positioning for erection and dismantling activities also, determining the selection of lifting equipments for erection procedure.

• B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Park College of Engineering & Technology (Anna University), Coimbatore in 2008.
