PROJECT: "Theoretical Foundations and Fundamental Laboratory Analysis for Optimization of a Novel Dynamic Bed Cryogenic Separation Process with simultaneous Dehydration and CO2 Capture for the Purification of High CO2 Malaysian Natural Gas"

Duties :

• Process Plant Design, theoretical calculations before experimentation.

• Developing thermodynamic model for Malaysian natural gas separation under cryogenic and high pressures.

• Transport phenomena and modeling of dynamic cryogenic separation

• Process optimization of the process parameters.

2. MIDDLE EAST OIL REFINERY-EGYPT
Position: process engineer (7 SEPTEMBER till 30 JANUARY 2011)

 Operation Department

o Worked at Crude Distillation, Hydrogen Plant , Hydrocracker, and Coker unit.

o Treatment units such as CCR, Merox, Penex and Hydrotreaters. (3 weeks each)
o Scheduled site visits, DCS control supervision, attending OGS lectures.

o Detailed study of process flow diagrams (PFD) and P&ID throughout the Internship.

 Technical and Development Department

o Was assigned to carry a process modification entitled to compensate pressure drop in the Crude Distillation Unit.

o Used HySIS Simulation software. (AspenTech)

o A solution was implemented under supervision of engineers.

3. Advanced Micro Deviices , Malaysia
Position: Research Intern (June 2010 TO AUGUST 2010)

o Daily R &D tasks at the production Line.
o Implemented technical modifications to AMD’s mobile processors after Results of Research
o Works with Panasonic Senior engineers to fix one of AMDs Plasma Treatment Machines
