Description: The research is mainly based on the enhanced oil recovery methods in which improve the efficiency of oil extraction. Fluids are employed to decrease the viscosity by that the oil flow is increased. The fluids generally used are such as gases mixed with oil, steam, air polymer solutions, gels, surfactant, alkaline surfactant polymer formulations or micro-organisms formulations. The selection is based on reservoir and fluid characteristics for enhanced oil recovery.
