COMMISSIONING ENGINEER FOR OIL AND GAS OR PHOTOVOLTAIC PROJECTS

From June 2011 to now: Commissioning and grid connection engineer for PV plants at Solairedirect company, France (60MW experience)

Technical and managing achievements:
-Responsible of validating commissioning processes and results: no load/on load tests on 500kW inverters (Converteam_Conversol, Schneider_Xantrex), 1000kW transformers, cables, monitoring system, protection relay.
-Calculation and validation of PV plants performances: effectiveness, electrical availability, performance ratio
-Validation of equipment design and operation with the engineering: size of inverters, transformers, cables, fuses in agreement with the local normative (NF C15100, C15 712).
-Cost estimation of the grid connection works: connection of PV plants to the distribution grid and relative cost challenges to ERDF.
-Asset of the impact of the PV plant on the grid and approval of the PV plant connection to the grid: Harmonic pollution, voltage drop at transformer start up, voltage regulation, short circuit contribution, reactive power within the acceptable limits, TangPhi.
-Carry out preventive maintenance on PV modules: detection of Snail trails, hot spots on cells, hot spot on cables, bypassed strings and diodes.
-Head supervisor for electrical and wiring works: verification that the subcontractor’s work meets the requirements of the contract.
-Build of the non conformity list and planning of complementary work to be performed by the subcontractors
-Security and environment manager of the building sites: writing security and environment procedures to be applied on the building sites, according to the ISO 14001, ISO 18001 certification of my company (Objective: NO ACCIDENT).
-Team management: 2 assistant commissioning engineers


From Sept 2008 to May 2011: Technico commercial Engineer at POWERSYS, France.

Technical activities achieved:
-Design of converters up to 500kW (DC/DC, AC/DC) and associated controls.
-Transport/Distribution electrical grid design (load flow, short circuit, harmonic analysis, cable ampacity calculation).
-Substation grounding (earth circuit study).

Commercial activities achieved :
Developed a marketing strategy for the sale development of PSIM and CYME software in Europe.
-Prospection of potential customers in Europe: UK, Germany, Italy, Spain.
-Technical presentation of software: Webinars, web conferences

2008: Master degree Electrical Engineer at ESIGELEC engineering high school Rouen, France.
2008: Master degree Business Administration (MAE) IAE Rouen.
2005: Bachelor in telecomunications at « La Sapienza » University, Rome (Italy).
