1. Earlier involved in (4X270) MW Coal Based Thermal Power Project at Chandwa, Ranchi.

A. Procurement of all Mechanical Equipments like BTG Package, BOP Package, Pumps, Air Compressor’s, Cooling Tower, Water Treatment Plant(DM Plant),
Effluent treatment Plant, DG EOT Cranes, DG SETS, Plant Consumables, Ash Handling and Coal Handling Plant etc.:

• To search for the vendors/manufacturers for any requirement that comes from the site.
• To float the enquiries to the reputed suppliers/Manufacturers.
• To resolve technical queries of the supplier to enable them to give proper offer.
• Getting Techno-Commercial offers from the suppliers to make commercial comparison.
• Sending technical offer to the technical team for their technical evaluation.
• Thereafter to place the order to T1 and L1 party after getting Technical clearance from respective technical team.
• After Placement of Orders; sending all the tax exemption related Documents to the supplier so that no tax will be levied throughout the order dispatches as the Project is being executed under SEZ Rules and Regulations.
• Orders for CIVIL works, Structural Fabrication and Erection, Lab Equipments were also finalized in due time.
Tasks performed apart from Purchase orders and Work orders:

• High Seas Sales Agreements, Tri Party Agreements, Invoice Generation.
• For the all orders of Imported Items from Germany, USA etc. ; actively involved in Custom Clearance Procedures like IGM filing, Bill of Entry, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill.
• Actively involved in SRM (E-Auction), SPM, CLM, SUS and other SAP related products/Modules Implementation.

Project Management:-
• To get the approval for QAP ,GA Drawings ,P & ID and other technical aspects from respective technical department on behalf of supplier.
• To ask the supplier for the inspection calls based on the readiness of material as per PO.
• To arrange Conference call / Kick off Meetings/ Review meetings with supplier to meet contractual delivery period.
• To get the internal inspection reports from the supplier for the material for which inspection has been raised already.
• To make supplier aware of waybills/Road permits required for the material dispatch.
• To check whether L/C’s (LETTER OF CREDIT) are getting opened in due time to allow the supplier to make dispatches faster if L/C Payment is there.
• To make sure that all Bank Guarantees submitted by all the suppliers are as per our requirement or not by consulting with our Legal Department
