 Preparation of Inquiries/RFQs/Contracts/Tender documents in accordance with approved policy and procedures.
 Conduting pre-bid meetings/job explanation meetings, site visits and tender clarification meetings with contractors to ensure complete understanding and scope of work outlined in tender
 Technical and commercial analysis and comparison of quots/offers received
 Techno-commercial review
 Close co-ordination with technical team
 Getting technical clarifications/confirmations from vendors against the queries raised by technical team
 Techno-commercial negotiation
 Submitting analysis for approval as per deligation of power and policies derived by the organisation
 Awarding purchase orders/contracts
 Investigation of variations between estimated cost and actual cost
 Preparation of general reports
 Delivery follow-ups to ensure timely delivery of materials/services
 Verification of invoices as per released orders
 Settlement of payments, advances, security deposits, bank guarantees
 Settlement of rejection/replacemnet/shortage in accordance with stores personal
 Preparing minor orders/contracts
 Settlement of disputes in contracts
 Vendor performance evaluation
 Co-ordination with freight forwarders and custom clearing agents for custom clearing of import consignments.
 Management of hazardous waste disposal and maintaining relevant statutory compliances.
 Development, modification and customization of SAP functionalities, being a SAP core team member.
