QA Claims Manager

• Manage the QA Claims Department
• Compile detailed claims package which includes legal, financial and technical data and liaise directly with Legal Director, Director of QA, Carrier and Transporter.
• Arrange third party surveys – both internal and external and subsequent reports of the relevant documentation.
• Design, implement & maintain the claims process on all claims (carrier/transporter and supplier)
• Make policy recommendation for claims handling and guidelines for claims negotiation.
• Undertake internal audits on compromised containers and supplier issues
• Oversee the implementation of suggestions and preventative actions raised from the audits;
• Report all compromised containers / supplier issue and ensure effective handling to achieve a satisfactory outcome for the company
• Evaluate all claims (supplier/carrier/transporter) from all depots (Afghanistan, Latvia, Germany, Panama and African Region)
• Ensure the development of the quality culture on site to increase employee awareness to factors that may compromise food safety through guidance and training;
• Maintain, control and conduct regular reviews of the claims process
• Regular review of outstanding claims and recommend closure if necessary.
• Provide technical guidance and support to operations staff on the claims process.
• Work directly with QA Team with respect to compromised containers, supplier issues and the claims process.
• Oversee the entire claims process from first raised to conclusion – which includes destruction and relevant raising of documentation to ensure credit notes are raised.
• Prepare Purchase Order
• Deal with Procurement regarding orders and supplier non conformances.
