FINANCE MANAGER (2008 - Present)

• Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems and ensure the proper accountability and compliance with set policies and procedures
• Monitor and advise the General Manager on the financial status of projects and ensure that the progress of these projects are appropriately reflected
• Monitor cash flows to ensure the availability and timing of future cash requirements
• Work closely with department managers to prepare business plans, forecasts and the annual budget
• Review financial results with department managers as well as prepare various reports and financial analysis including comparison to forecasts and budgets

• Prepared group consolidated financial statements involving multiple companies
• Supervised the preparation of monthly mgmt. reports for a group of 30 branches
• Supervised a large group of accountants and HR personnel and worked closely with the IT department in enhancing the in-house developed accounting system
• Worked closely with the internal audit department in identifying key risk areas were internal controls need to be monitored and followed up on
