1. Lotte Chemicals Pakistan Limited (August 2001 - Present)
Maintenance Manager
Lotte Chemicals Pakistan Ltd., is the sole manufacturer of Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) in Pakistan and member LOTTE Group.
Key Responsibilities
•Maintain plant assets so as to ensure that the Business production targets are achieved by following the HSE, Engineering & statutory standards.
•Mechanical maintenance of Plant including all Stationary and Rotary equipments and 48 MW Gas Turbine.Preventive, predictive & corrective maintenance of Mechanical equipments and maintain Engineering Standards, design intend.•Reviewing equipment performance to ensure that equipment reliability .•Annual overhaul preparation and execution ,completion of optimum scope ,levels of HSE performance and engineering standards. •Monitor the progress of work performed by engineering and EPC contractors. Identify bottlenecks and recommended corrective action •Optimize inventory of Mechanical spares •Identify training requirements of the personnel and devise and implement training and succession plans. Effective utilization of contractor manpower/resources is made to meet ABR revenue targets.
2. Descon Engineering Private Limited. (April 1994 To July 2001)

Descon is a leading international reputed company; the portfolio of services includes engineering, construction, electro-mechanical erection and maintenance.Worked on various Plants for Maintenance, major over hauls, commissioning and construction.
Key Responsibilities
•Ensure safety of work methods and procedures are reviewed and implement. Participate, coordinate and assist in the preparation of comprehensive work package for implementation of different project phases.•Directly supervise the activities of project during engineering, construction and commissioning phases and manage project completion punch list and ensure that all construction and commissioning activities are completed.•Ensure that contractor’s strategy, plans, specifications, methods and procedure for construction are in accordance with the scope of work, specification etc., and certifying contractor’s invoices.

Education:
B.E., Mechanical Engineering, 1st Division, December 1993 from NED University Karachi.
I have an on hand experience of more than 18 years. Worked in various departments of heavy Petrochemical and Oil&Gas industries in Maintenance, Work Shop, Projects, Reliability and Planning. My exposure to these assignments has given me a diversified professional experience and has enabled me to manage the work independently. •Preparation of tender documentation and provide professional expertise in the selection of Engineering Consultant and contractors, bid evaluation site arrangement, overall logistics etc.,
•Inspection of welding, heat treatment, stress relieving, hydro test and vacuum test. Dimensional inspection in accordance with fabrication drawings.
