Currently Working as an Accounts Officer (Contract Basis) at Sui Southern Gas Company limited (SSGCL) Head Office Karachi.
( since November 2006 )

Job Description & responsibilities:

-To evaluate proposal of capex budget.
-Perform core Fixed Asset operations (Capitalization, depreciation, retirement, revaluation reporting etc.) and
-Projects accounting within the framework of IFRS and regulations notified by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). And Perform related internal control.
-Preparation of monthly reporting package.
-Preparation of tax depreciation schedule.
-Preparation of supporting schedules and coordinating with external auditors during the audit. working on different reports as an when demanded by (OGRA).
-To process SOP’s and adjustments including changes in assets policies, life, depreciation rates, salvage value etc.
-Run FA, INV and AP accounting functions and quires.
-Perform monthly period closing in respective modules.
-Responsible for reconciliation of sub modules with GL.
-To Reconcile the Schedules of regional offices.
-To Maintain asset register and reconcile physical verification reports issued by internal audit time to time.
