o Responsible for chemicals sales on rig site and mixing of drilling fluids systems.
o Maintain the mud parameters according to the drilling program.
o Estimates mud materials and chemicals required for drilling each phase includes estimating the tonnage per materials, per well and recommends estimates for ordering stores.
o Ensures that adequate stock of mud chemicals is available on the Rig.
o Signs the loading notes for the mud chemicals received from the stores after checking the quality and quantity of these materials.
o Complete the Mud Cost Report and the Mud Materials used and transferred.
o Ensures that loading / off loading, stocking/ re-stocking mud chemicals at the well site is done properly and carefully.
