As a Trainee Engineer in Electrical maintenance and Operation & Control Wing

This Power plant is under the Kerala State Electricity Board and is engaged in Power production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Maintenance of 16MW SIEMENS Germany and BHEL India make AC Generators.
 Maintenance of 38MVA BHEL India make Generator Transformers.
 Maintenance of Air and Vacuum Circuit Breakers.
 Maintenance of Motor Control Centers.
 Maintenance of various types of Relays.
 Supervision of Fuel treatment (LSHS) in the Fuel Treatment House.
 Supervision of Demineralization of Water in the Demineralization Plant.
 Supervision of Steam Generation in the Boiler Unit.
 Calibration of Temperature (Thermo Couple & RTD), Pressure and Level Transmitters.
 Study of the operation of:

ALFA LAVAL Fuel Separator (LOPPX710/FOPX614)
AALBORG INDUSTRIES Exhaust gas boiler (AV-6N)
STEAMRATOR 2.17MW Steam Generator
HOH VATTENTEKNIK Reverse Osmosis plant
