GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides medical treatment to personnel that are ill or injured. Maintains a record of all consultations and treatments, pre hospital emergency management in case of Medivac.
• Ensures proper medical supplies and equipment are onboard and are properly administered.
• Inspects all first aid and emergency equipment, eye wash stations on the rig and camp.
• Monitors health and cleanliness of all rig personnel. Advises personnel of any findings Tests the potable water supply &Inspects living quarters/galley for cleanliness and hygiene and fills in weekly hygiene reports to inform camp boss and Rig Superintendent.
• Ensures ambulance is 100% operational at all times, maintained with full suite of medical equipment as per standard identifies, reports and rectifies and deficiencies.
ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducts operations in a safe manner according to RMG policies and procedures.
• Submits RIR’s with defined action items relating to his responsibilities.
• Plays an active part in QHSE meetings, LPT, and all other company safety management systems
• Performs QHSE training for personnel as per his training qualifications.
• Submits monthly timesheets accurately and on time
• Liaises with personnel department regarding all issues related to personnel.
• Duties include manifesting personnel, preparation of accident reports, assignment of rooms and emergency stations to new personnel and visitors.
• Maintains medical log, prepares and maintains personnel on board list
