Chemical Engineering, intern in coal bed methane (CBM) company

Work in oil and gas industries. Main influence due to country I lived in, Saudi Arabia and family motivation.

My other practical skill experience was with “Ephindo Energy Private Limited”, where I worked as drilling manager assistance in business division and mud engineering assistance working in onshore field. This company is dealt with a coal bed methane (CBM) project and it is located in Jakarta, Indonesia. During that time I also gained many skill and experience to organize and involve in the companies current CBM project. All the field needs and requirement must be well prepared. The time sheet and field program also should be prepared by the head office in Jakarta. My experience during this time was to involve in solving many problem that on the field from Jakarta with the team. I was sent to onshore field as well to directly experience and gained a real pictured on what going on for the project. I have been given a chance to study and assist the field mud engineer and coring engineer. I have quite numbers of knowledge related to the chemical field with the mud engineer.

With a degree in this field as a professional engineer I will learn and I want to gain the skills, the unique skills and problem-solving technique to solve the current problem by design, develop, construct, test and supervise the problem solver. Besides that, as a professional engineer I also required to be a useful member of the teams that work to solve technically based problems relating to social and political issues, and I will work for that, to gain that skills. Chemical Engineering is the field that I have chosen to learn and become my skill.

I was born and lived whole of my life in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where this country is famous for their oil and chemical industries and this gave me a huge influence and really does encourage me to start to become a chemical engineer and also for my parents’s hope, I will gain many experiences and try to become more successful man so that I can help my mother and my siblings’s future study. Until now I still have the residence permit (IQAMA) to be able to stay in saudi arabia in order to be able to persue my dream to work as an engineer.
