I would like to apply for the role of Maintenance Engineer as advertised recently.

I work in engineering mechanical maintenance as part of a team of engineering technicians, where I am responsible for making sure all plant machinery and equipment runs smoothly. I carry out both preventative checks, as well as emergency maintenance and running repairs for a manufacturing company and, I have acquired knowledge in Erection, Commissioning & Maintenance of oil country tubular goods plant machinery hydraulic & pneumatic systems, utilities, cnc lathe machines, conveyors and heat treatment furnaces.
Part of my duties involve preparing, carrying out and over-seeing the maintenance schedule, allocating work to our team of fitters, checking , fitting new parts, carrying out quality inspections, responding immediately to equipment breakdowns, fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed.
