Coordination of logistics activities for the field engineers, clients and providing timely supports to the concerned departments.Responsible for overall supervision and control of procurement and material movement till dispatch, preparation of SPIR for all the listed vendors for the project, final handover of spares to the client, and timely expediting and informing the clients and sub-contractors for the arriving materials.Monitoring and tracking all logistics and supply chain activities and directing/coordinating with the service providers to ensure scheduled supplies in time against purchases. Supervise and control warehouse and stores for proper handling and storage.
Generating and maintaining materials status related to construction, Tie Ins, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.Regularly chasing suppliers on pending orders and expediting supplies as per schedule.Handling all the punch list issues related to material shortage, identifying and forecasting material requirements & closing all the punches in time.Coordinating with commissioning team for all the startup spares, closely working with Project Manager/ Construction Manager for proper line up of all the materials required. Forecasting the activities and accordingly instructing to procurement team for necessary purchase of required materials, instructing the warehouse team to transfer of materials to site.Used Marian Oracle database for material entries and reporting.Prepared and reviewed daily transactions report generated by the Materials Management System (Matoop & Excel), analyzed inventory positions and placed indents upon re-order levels.Reviewed daily runs related to unfulfilled demands and negative stocks, investigated reasons, taken urgent replenishment or adjustment actions and advised concerned parties of areas requiring corrections/enhancement, as necessary.Reviewed material reservation request submitted by the user for major overhaul or shutdown work; reserved quantities that could be provided from stock and raised indents for balance.
