Manager - MEP / Electrical & Instrumentation

Seeking suitable position to manage construction & commissioning of MEP / Electrical & instrumentation work of building and oil & gas project.

Joined Qatar Gass PMT team as Senior Superintendent E & I to support FLUOR for the completion of remaining construction & commissioning of all the E & I works of (JBOG ) Jetty Boil-off Gas recovery project project and the following:
Monitoring the progress, approving the submittals & drawings and resolving the construction & technical issues.
Heading the progress, coordination & commissioning requirement meetings and ensure to meet the progress of E & I works on schedule in compliance with the project requirement.
Heading the MEP & instrumentation team and controlling all aspects of work of the Helium plant that includes:
Review the BOQ, tender drawings, specification, contract documents and resolve if any anomalies prior and during construction with client / subcontractors.
Review & finalization of contracts, provide Inputs to engineering, planning & procurement.
Manage construction, Calibration of instruments, Loop checking & function test of instruments and testing & commissioning of the MEP systems as well.
Establish the resource requirement & keep regular monitoring to achieve optimum utilization
Ensures to maintain the delivery schedule of the materials as per procurement register.
Evaluate, negotiate and select the appropriate supplier / subcontractor to make them part of the team in the completion of the project.
Establish organization chart, arrange the resources and delegate their responsibilities.
Defining organizational goal, establishing over all strategies and delegate the work to the respective team lead of the project and monitor the progress till completion of the project.
Oversee all aspects of day to day management of the project in coordination with the team.
Monitoring performances, comparing results and the goal, and advise the corrective action.
instigate the project planning schedule and review the progress regularly against target set.
Attendance of the weekly progress, coordination, quality and safety meeting with the client, consultant and subcontractors/ suppliers and ensure to meet the comments raised.
Tag critical issues and prepare corrective action plan to resolve those during construction.
Ensure the subcontractors / suppliers to complete their work on schedule as established.
Coordinate with consultant, clients and subcontractors to resolve the construction issues.
