As an Applications Engineer
o To provide top notch IT services both in the form of superior MIS Infrastructure as well as effective application solutions to the entire Drilling Operations Group
o Provide an integrated approach in problem solving so as to avoid “islands of automation” within the business
o Centralization of all information in the Drilling Operations Group
o To work with Managers, Team Leaders & Specialist from various disciplines within the group so as to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
o To establish a centrally pooled IT services center within the Drilling Group through suitable infrastructure and application solutions to Completion
o Developing new Application Software for the entire Drilling Group for routine use and for MIS report generation which is required for Business Intelligence
o Perform daily maintenance of existing application software in the Drilling Group in terms of Requirement, Planning, Development & Support
o Integration of previous applications with existing and new systems in the development pipeline
o Introducing new Applications to record information being sent out of the Company and maintained within each Company Groups/Teams & Employees
o To create a team of highly qualified MIS/IT staff who can support existing and future systems in terms of migration by establishing a succession plan for the users who are part of the software

As a Business Process Re-Engineer / Business Systems Analyst
o Business Process Mapping (Identifying the current AS-IS work process of the entire group, teams and every individual serving in each team to forecast a TO BE future process)
o Business Process Re-engineering (Improving/Advising a new TO BE work process, resource & time saving process[s] for routine work execution aligning I.T. with the Organizations periodically changing business strategies)
o To conceptualize and create an effective IT/MIS strategy for the organization that is in line with the Groups direction and be able to implement this within a mutually agreed time frame
o Keep abreast of the latest developments/advances in IT so as to be able to exploit these for the betterment of the business
