HSE Manager

I am looking to enhance my professional skills by working on challenging and rewarding position in a growth-oriented organization as HSE Team Leader that offers diverse job responsibilities.

I have 21 years of experience in Oil & Gas HSE, Quality and Operations Management. I worked eight years at Shell Pakistan Ltd in Operation function, and then got an opportunity to work five years in Pakistan State Oil Company as HSE Manager. I have also worked at Schlumberger as HSE Manager and managed the HSE activities in Pakistan and Yemen. Now I am working with UK based Consulting Company as International HSE Consultant and currently working on rotation at Saudia Arabia.

I am qualified Trainer and Assessor for Drive SMARRT, Injury Prevention, Onshore Mobile Crane and Overhead Crane, Behavior Base Observation & Intervention and QHSE Management System Trainer. I am well familiar with Oil and Gas operations and OGP standards. I was selected for ILO international HSE-MS training from Pakistan.

During my Oil and Gas experience, I got the excellent experience of both upstream and downstream operations. I worked at Oil Installations for Operations Management, Petroleum Product Distributions, Maintenance, Budgeting & HSE Management. I managed HSE Steering Committee Meetings with Managing Director and top management. I am well versed in Operations HSE training and Safety procedures development and participated in HAZOP study of Installation. I have applied innovative ideas for employees and contractors motivation through challenging HSE KPI's. My technical knowledge and skills would be beneficial for your organization and will provide me opportunities to lead and develop more powerful HSE function. I have conducted Risk Assessment Workshops at Installations and developed HSE case studies to close the hazards. I was responsible for Environmental regulatory compliance and developed waste segregation and management system for facilities and ensured its compliance as per the EMS requirements by complying local environment regulations.

I am frequently visiting the field locations for HSE monitoring during well site operations for Wireline, Well Services, Cementing. Testing, Coiled Tubing, Drilling & Measurement, Slickline. Drilling Fluid Engineering and Dewatering Operations. I performed many Schlumberger and other Rig HSE audits. I also supervised the safe construction of oil storage tanks and oil Installation at Shell and PSO.

I completed my first master degree in Nuclear Physics then MBA in Management Information Systems and also completed another specialization in Marketing Management. I completed Environmental Risk Managements Training from Aga Khan University and also completed professional HSE certification from PIQC & NED University. I managed integrated certification for ISO-9001, ISO-14001 and OHSAS-18001 standards and also become lead auditors of these system and well versed in online Health and Safety Software e.g. QUEST, Impact, E-Campus, SAP& JDE. I have also completed NEBOSH international diploma in Occupational Health and Safety which is highest L-6 qualification of UK Safety Board. I am also Graduate member for IOSH.
