Preparation of WPS ,PQR and welder qualification test , Welding Plan, Inspection Check List (Quality Control Procedure).

Co-ordination with client / Third party inspectors for Inspection activities

Identification & verifying the tracebility of the materials like CS,LTCS,CS NACE,LTCS NACE,SS 304, SS316, SS321, LOW ALLOY STEEL, Copper & Nickel

Pre weld inspection includes fit up, root gap, root face bevel angle, high low, ovality, heat no transfer etc

Inspection during welding . it includes preheat, inter pass temp, inter run cleaning, weaving, Welding Parameters like V,I, Travel speed and heat input compliance to the WPS etc. Checking qualified welder deployment , correct welding consumable and proper use of electrode quiver.
Post weld inspection like visual appearance of the weld profile, cap height, penetration of the root, fillet size and weld is free of welding defects.


Closely Monitor the performance of welders, repair of welds, analyses the causes and initiate preventive and corrective actions.

Witnessing pneumatic and hydro test.

Verify the daily records of welding consumables issued and returned log for right quantities, baking of electrodes at specific temperature and time, temperature of holding ovens, baking ovens flux ovens, quivers.

Monitor storage treatment and flow of welding consumables and performance of welding equipment.

Verifying welding consumable treatment record & storage

Witnessing MPT,UT,LPT and signing the reports

Verification of PWHT record
Issue of inspection release note.

Final Inspection and releasing Spools for Painting of Pre-fabricated Piping Systems.

Monitoring of quality control & NDT activities during fabrication.

Issue of discrepancy reports for activity related to QA/QC to improve the quality and requirement
the deviation or difference between the engineering documents.

Worked as company's Internal Auditor and conducted vendor Audits.

Ensure high operational standards and safe working of all personnel at all times

Carrying tool box talk on quality issues.
