Company: Yokogawa India Limited (Affiliate of Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Japan)-Indian HQ, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Job Responsibilities:
Working as DCS(Distributed Control System) ENGINEER & SAFETY ENGINEER(ESD Projects) in the field of process industrial automation holding responsibilities such as
 Study of the detailed process of the plant, feasibility of the plant to get automated with the available criteria, economic consideration and the implementation factor.
 Detailed understanding of the process control loops and extraction of the loop schemes based on the control write-up and the customer’s requirements.
 Preparation of Functional Design Specifications (FDS) followed by Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), on behalf of the company and based on the customers requirements, which further had to be approval of the revised documents by the customer and the consultant (EPC).
 Automation of the whole industrial plant is implemented through usage of the company’s standardized proprietary software.
 Simulation, debugging and modifications of process/interlock’s GUI required for the project and preparation of the related engineering documents.
 Conducting Pre-FAT (Pre-Factory Acceptance Test) & preparation of punch Data observed during Pre-FAT.
 Conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and explanation of the developed automated system to the client and customer and handling of the system to the Client.
 Back-up/ Maintenance of the documents for future modification/requirements of the customer.
 DCS Installation/Commissioning Offsite/Onsite.

 Implemented DCS system using CAN Protocol.
 Supervisory Controller and Data Acquisition System(HMI) software based implementation adaptable for any process industry.

Aurora Engineering College, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India
 I was team leader for my final year project on “Automatic Water Treatment & Distribution Management Using Programmable Logic Controller and Interfacing it through SCADA” during December 2008- April 2009. My team work, initiative and enthusiasm have been commended by my Professors.

Achievements:

 Rendered services in organizing “ENQUESTA-08”, a technical and cultural activity specific to Electronics and Instrumentation branch and the college has awarded a certificate in commendation of organisational ability to me.

 I was selected out of number of papers in other colleges to present various seminars in National Level Technical Symposiums on “Biometrics”, “Intelligent Instrumentation”, “Virtual Instrumentation”, “Global Positioning System”,” Unmanned Air Vehicles”, “SCADA” indicative of my interpersonal skills.

 I volunteered and assisted in planning and organising for a 3-day course in College on “MATLAB AND ITS APPLICATIONS TO CONTROL SYSTEMS” and attended during Dec, 2006 and got familiarised with the software.
