• IGC Reformer Reliability Improvement: The charter of this Task Force is to find solutions to the problem of IGC’s Reformer flexi tube failures and thus improve plant reliability.
• IMC Reformer Reliability Improvement: The charter of this Task Force is to find solutions to the problem of IMC’s Reformer pigtail growth and thus reduce the plant’s operating risk.
• IGC Debottlenecking: The charter of this Task Force is to find an economic way of increasing plant capacity by 35%.
 A key member of the team to develop the Sipchem Gate Process for executing major capital projects.
 Element Administrator for the Management of Change (MOTC) PSM element.
 SME (Subject Matter Expert) for several key Process Engineering standards.
 A mentor and guide to engineers in the Process Engineering department.
 

Process Engineering Manager, July 2008-2010: Sipchem.

 Responsible for ensuring timely and top quality process engineering support to Sipchem’s affiliates.
 Key responsibilities included,
• Developing a vision and strategic plan for the department. This plan included a comprehensive road map for achieving the vision and goals of the department.
• Developing a Training & Development program for engineers at all levels.
• Optimize resource allocation to ensure good and proper coverage for normal, shutdown and emergency operations of all affiliates.
 Responsible for coordination of capital budgets for IMC & IDC and operating budget for Process Engineering.
 Responsible for developing and maintaining departmental KPIs.
 Responsible for ensuring support for optimum plant operation as well as guiding engineers for generating plant improvement projects.
 During my tenure as the Process Engineering Manager, my department ranked # 1 in internal customer satisfaction in 2009.
 Also during my tenure, the attrition rate was the lowest in 3 years and no expat left the department.
