KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Over all 18 years plus experience in the Operation & Maintenance, Construction, Testing & Commissioning of Thermal Power Plants (2X210 MW),(2X250 MW) BHEL make, (2X800 MW) Mitsubishi make and Combined Cycle Power Project (3X250 MW) Siemens make.
• Experience in DCS systems of Siemens (SPPA T3000), Siemens PLC (SIMATIC S7-200), Allen Bradley PLC 5/60, BHEL (Pro Control), MMI System (POSE 9041) and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of Engineering Standards like IEC, NEC, NFPA
• Responsible for improving the procedure of online testing of solenoid valves in field and reduced the failure of solenoid valves (almost NIL) of ESP hoppers by avoiding Silica powder coming in the instrument air line in AHP of KTPS-V Stage.
• Responsible for protecting and safe guarding all outdoor instruments in the field from dust/weather in KTPS-V Stage resulting in reduced failures and increasing the performance of plant by reducing the number of Unit trips due to I&C faults.
• Ability to work in cross functional areas (Instrumentation & Electrical) – Anywhere in Construction/Erection, Testing & Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance.

Worked as Instrumentation Field Engineer in Tractebel Engg. for AlBatinah Power
Company, Sohar-II IPP(3X250 MW) CCPP of Siemens make as Owner Engineer for
supervising the construction, installation and commissioning of Distributed Control
Systems Siemens (SPPA T3000 ), Siemens PLC (SIMATIC S7-200) and field
instrumentation of HRSG (Horizontal, Triple Pressure Drum Type), Gas Turbines
(250MWX2 Sets)(SGT5-4000F), Steam Turbine(250MW) (SST5-5000) and handed
over to STOMO.
