• Monitor DCS parameters, trends in PIB and identify deviations if any & propose proactive corrective actions in consultation with Astt. Manager and H.O.D if required. • Maintain records and carry out checks for the QMS / EMS / OHSAS systems

• Responsible to maintain process parameters, keep checks on quality and maintain them during the shifts.
• To operate the plant at optimum conditions and achieve production targets.
• To ensure quality of products, waste reduction, absenteeism control, and safe operation of the plant.
• To be responsible for all shift activities including quality control, process control, minor maintenance, and training of shift field operator
To supervise work permits, detection of unsafe conditions, startup shut down activities.
• To ensure recording of production data, analyze quality of products, and other shift records.
• To set and control parameters for optimum utilization of the plant.
• To remain familiar with the current operating procedures. Interlocks and safety systems.
• Work permit procedures
• Safety / Firefighting equipment in the section. Fire, smoke, gas detection systems.
• Material safety data of hazardous chemicals used in the section.
• Precautions for storage and handling of hazardous chemicals in the section.
• Hazardous Area Classification Job Safety Analysis
• Process variables, its effect on products yield and quality.
• Specific consumption norms vis--vis actual.
• Critical equipment, its operating characteristics, maintenance requirements mechanical, electrical, instrument
