• Preparing specification of spare parts of static, rotary equipment, material required for Plants and new equipments for Codification of the same in SAP system.
• Study manuals of static and rotary equipment, identify spares required to be kept in inventory.
Decide inventory levels for spares on basis of equipment history.
• Carry out periodic review of spares of plant equipments and decide quantity of spares to be
procured for routine maintenance and turn around.
• Raising Indents for procurement of spares in SAP.
• Evaluation of offers and technical negotiations with vendors.
• Coordinating with purchase department for placement of Purchase Orders.
• Coordinating with vendors for timely delivery of material.
• In process inspection and final Inspection of material .
• To provide technical expertise with experience base knowledge and assistance to technical
and operational divisions/department on all related matter to materials and spare parts.
Support field engineers for various activities required for smooth completion of jobs and day
to day support to end users.

• Prepare scope of work for contracts of specialized jobs. Evaluation of technical bids and make
recommendations for award of contracts.
