I have worked in the offshore oil industry as a cook in the Gulf of Mexico since 1996. In September 2012, I pursued my dream to travel throughout Mexico. I am currently at my parents’ home at the above address, and anxious to get back to work. We are close to Mazatlan international Airport, so I can fly out at a moments notice.

Attended elementary school in Fallbrook California, and graduated from Fallbrook High School in 1982. Took classes off and on at Palomar Jr. Collage, no degree. I have a current T.W.I.C card and U.S. Passport.

I speak Spanish, I am easy to get along with, a hard worker and take pride in my job. I will work anywhere in the world and would like 60 day hitches if possible, but I have done a few hitches as long as 90 days, the longest being 120 days.

Professional Experience

1982-1996 I worked for Dennis Jones Construction in Fallbrook, Ca. and other General Contractors in between jobs. Responsibilities: Framing. Concrete, landscape. Ran the crews of the Spanish speaking labors.

1996-2005 Energy Catering Company, Houma, La. 70361.
I started as a galley hand and worked up to cook in a year and sometimes had the job as a steward.

2005 – Aug. 2012 Costal Catering LLC, Houma, LA 70361
I worked as a night cook, baker and steward and supervise a galley crew of 8, seven days a week, on 12 hour shifts months at a time. I ensure a safe, sanitary and productive work environment. I cook the best meals possible with the supplies provided. I work with people from all over the world and am experienced in Cajun, Mexican, All American, Southern, California Tex Mex, Italian, Vegetarian Eastern Indian.
