E&I CAD Designer

I am currently working as a Senior Electrical CAD Designer in Dubai which is a recognized provider in Design, Engineering and Construction solutions in both offshore and onshore for Oil and Gas market.

1. Prepares list of required drawings for electrical, F&G, Telecom (Telephone/Network), PA/GA, HVAC Instrumentation discipline prior to submission of master document register.
2. Consolidate client documents/drawings for the design development. Study and implement client standards such as design specifications, equipment & circuit naming/tagging convention, etc.
3. Generate preliminary drawings during design stage and conduct coordination with other discipline; piping, HVAC, structural, architectural & safety to ensure correctness of drawings/design.
4. Prepares electrical, Fire & Gas, Telecom drawings such as;
• General Arrangement layout for Lighting & small power layouts, Fire & Gas, Telecom & PA/GA.
• Single line diagram, Schematic diagram, Block diagram, DB Schedule
• Technical room layout for Instrument, Telecom, Control & Switchgear room.
• Looping diagrams, Interconnection diagram, termination details
• MCT/penetration layout, MCT schedule
• Cable tray & routing layout
• Earthing layout
• Equipment support & installation details.
5. Coordinate with other discipline in resolving clashes through PDMS review/ Navisworks software.
