Extensive training done at the Crude Oil Distillation Unit of IOCL Refinery to understand better the design and operation, column feed, separation improvement methods, reflux, usage of the plates and trays, and the packing provided. Proper understanding and knowledge gained on topics such as Petroleum Refining and Vacuum Distillation. Reported to Senior Training Manager.

Internship in 20 July – 10 August 2010 as Trainee.

Training at Crude Oil Distillation Unit, Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU), Diesel Hydro Desulphurization Unit (DHDS) at Kochi Refinery, India. Under FCCU, proper study and detailed understanding of the flow diagram, process description, reactor & regenerator functioning, operation of Distillation Column, properties of regenerator Flue Gas and the catalyst usage. Under DHDS, the process Chemistry and process description were discussed and learned. Reported to Deputy General Manager L&D.
