Professional Experience
My career was shaped by challenging major construction projects of great diversity.
Since I graduated as a civil engineer in 1984 I have joined large contractors to take key positions during various stages of major projects throughout the world, in countries such as Oman, Iraq, Southern Africa, China, India, Hongkong, Australia and Libya.
During my career I went through the stages of site engineer, construction manager, estimator, project manager and proposal manager. Furthermore, I was entrusted with special tasks like project control, claim management and business analysis.
My career reflects a versatility of tasks and disciplines such as turnkey building, civil construction, infrastructure, mega hydropower projects, processing- and oil & gas plants, which puts me in a highly flexible position.
Since 2009 I am project manager in the oil & gas service industry in Libya.
