GIS/Geomatics

I am currently working with Worely Parsons in Oman on a Major Gas Exploration project. Being a GIS Specialist, I am responsible for the various Geomatics tasks, below are the major one.

1) Supporting Engineering team by providing all required Geo spatial data
Mostly in CAD readable format.
1) DEM creation/extraction, satellite/Ariel/Lidar image
Processing/analysis/Geo or ortho rectification, survey data

2) GIS vector data creation/processing from other formats like
Engineering drawings, gps field visit data, third party survey data,
From other vector formats.
3) GDB Creation/Design according to the client schema or
Specifications and updating the day-to-day produced latest data
To the central Database (SDE/GDB)
4) Preparing maps & reports for field visits and project submission.
5) Preparing Technical presentation for clients related to Goematics
Scope.
2) Producing alignment sheets (plan & profile) using CIVIL 3D & ArcGIS. Or
Using Automatic Alignment sheet generation software (Sheet cutter)
Based on clients requirement.
3) Preparing all pipeline data in the PODS format to upload in to PODS
Database.
4) Generating/updating equipment and pipeline tags (P & Ids, PMC codes)
Using SPF for pipeline information database according to the request of
Engineering team.
5) Based on the requirement tools/scripts development for automating the
Routine tasks using VBA/VB/VB.NET/PYTHON and Arcobjects.
