Main Tasks

ƒŞ report to the Corporate HSE Manager with functional link to Balhaf and Sana¡¦a in liaison with senior management and group staff in relation to environmental activities;
ƒŞexternal liaison with Governmental Authorities and ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental laws;
ƒŞensuring implementation of annual environmental programs;
ƒŞmaintain and continually improve ISO14001 Environmental Management System and liaising with certification body to organize third party audits;
ƒŞverify that YLNG¡¦s operating sites are in compliance with HSE Policy according to the ISO 14001 standard¡¦s requirements and that appropriate procedures are kept up to date ;
ƒŞteam leadership role regarding environmental management system including work assignment, performance management, employee development and training;
ƒŞlead internal audits to ensure compliance with company Environmental Management System and ensure closing out of findings within timeframe and circulating audit reports, conducting the management reviews;
ƒŞtrain the selected staff of YLNG in Sana¡¦a and Balhaf for ISO 14001 internal audit procedure and conducting awareness programs related to environment management system;
ƒŞarrange and facilitate 3rd party companies for monitoring of air, water, soil and other parameters, and ecological onshore and marine biodiversity;
ƒŞprepare and issue environmental performance reports as required by the applicable YLNG Environmental Management System and governmental authorities
