Senior Software Engineer

I am a Chemical Engineer with 22 years in control systems/telecoms-banking/finance and various other areas of software development, 10 years in UNIX C/C++ and 12 years in Microsoft development with .net C#,C++ with winforms, 3.5 years WPF and ASP.NET MVC. I also have a B.Sc in maths/physics/chemistry.

I have 10 years in .net ,5 years as a senior developer and 5 years as a senior developer and architect.
I also have some Silverlight experience and portal software experience with DotNetNuke. I have 8 years WCF experience and also 3.5 years with CSLA (a powerful WCF based business object framework).
I have just finished a short contract with a government department in Sydney before that I did a short WCF contract with Hewlett Packard in New Zealand and just before that I was working for Fujitsu in Canberra for the last 3.5 years.
I am very interested in scientific/engineering/financial software engineering development.
I also have extensive experience supporting production software with bug fixing, performance tuning and liaising directly with customers and business owners.
My WPF experience.

On the ICON project I was the lead developer for the desktop application for 2.5 years, I also assisted with customer support.
