Procurement Lead / Procurement Manager

Project procurement-expediting Identify continuous improvements in supply chain practices. Interface with other departments, vendors,executive management to achieve project goals.Sourcing suitable suppliers, negotiations & logistics.

At Present working with SNC Lavalin Calgary Canada (Oil & gas Division). Responsible for :
1)Effective co-ordination with project engineering, construction group, HSE , QA
& I to develop and implement procurement strategies

2) Prepare , review bidder list and all other pre award documents , tender
packages, invite & evaluate tenders. Conduct pre-award meeting to conclude
technical – commercial and project T&Cs

3)Lead negotiations / Pre-award &, kick-off meetings.
4) For avert delay in manufacturing progress, conduct weekly meetings involving engineering and vendors for timely address of the pending issues.
5) Preparation of Contract documents, review and Award PO / Contracts, obtain
acknowledgement, expedite engineering documents as per agreed SDRL, ensure
timely sub-ordering- & receipt of materials , monitor manufacturing progress
6) Communicate effectively deviations /delay in schedule, call for mitigation plans to rectify the delays.
7) Manage supplier invoice payments w.r.t agreed payment terms, Review & manage
extra claims out of engineering amendments.
8) Prepare and represent to client supply chain progress report on regular basis.
9) Effective communication & interface with project management & internal
customers including vendors & sub vendors
10) Timely response to Client, Bidders and vendors queries
11) Lead department audit on HSE, Quality-ISO, including vendor progress
evaluation
