Professional Experience
Reporting to BP Egypt’s Chief Financial Officer and Exploration & Appraisal VP, this new role is a step forward in managing all the commercial aspects of BP’s exploration and Appraisal business in Egypt. In addition to my previous role, the new role has the responsibilities for,
1.Performance Management: Managing performance for in-year target delivery. Setting, tracking and managing the Performance Unit’s in-year as well as long-term performance
2.Business Development: Manage the A&D Exploration agenda (new bid rounds, farm-ins, farm-outs, and divestments). Lead the East Nile Delta appraisal plan and ensure the sanction of appraisal projects in the Mediterranean.
3.Commercial Negotiations: Partner management (TCM/OCM) across the Mediterranean assets. Lead EGAS/EGPC negotiations for new business development.
4.Protect BP's interest - continue active audit management/negotiations strategy to mitigate new audit exceptions and reduce historical exceptions with the Egyptian Government. Deliver a minimum of $xxm total savings from draft and historical audits
