Experienced Mechanical Project Manager

Seeking Project manager position with Oil and Gas industry

Mechanical Engineering System: Over 20 years of experience

Thorough knowledge in rotating equipment, maintenance, flow lines and manifolds, separation storage, pumping facilities, piping systems, water and gas injection facilities and utilities.
Experienced in water treatment plant design, STP maintenance and heavy filtration processes.
Hands on experience in preparing technical specifications, material selection, sizing, and performance evaluation of mechanical equipments;
Knowledge of API standards and codes for design of pumps and piping;
Experience in HVAC, heat exchangers, and compressors
Have led team of engineers in projects and have trained them in process development, monitoring and proactive maintenance schedule.

Project management (PMP Certified) – over 13 years:

Expert in the development project schedule, monitoring progress, performance assessment and closure of projects with lessons learned. Managed over 150 projects (with team size 10 to 50) from start to completion in mechanical systems, development of teams for preventive maintenance, use of project management software application, capacity to assess issues rapidly, develop alternative solutions;
Directing and coordinating the activities of a team of engineers (mechanical/electrical/civil)
Evaluates, and provide project benefits with analysis;
Support other groups in providing solutions to engineering issues Evaluates project management strategies with team members prior to approval;

Management responsibilities (over 15 years):

Investigate technical documents and commercial aspects for cost effective design.
Reviews and endorses recommendations, cost estimates and technical specifications for viability and successful implantation. Reviews and endorses tender and contract documents related to engineering projects. Liaises with end users to prepare and coordinate change over, commissioning and start up procedures. Participates in the training and development needs, counseling employees as needed, develops and monitor company health and safety environment policy, procedures, regulations. Provide advice on current policies, standards with approach to improving operating performance.
