Professional Experience
• Automobile Safety System
It deals with the violation of traffic rules such as over speeding, red light violations etc. We use an IR sensor as a speed measuring device. With the help of GPS and GSM, the traffic control room tracks the vehicle and if necessary they can even turn off the vehicle using a relay cut off. The detection of traffic signal violation is implemented using XBee transmission. Hardware used is arduino board with atmega328 and program is done in arduino software.
• PLC Based Automated Car Parking System
It is designed to minimize the area and/or volume required for parking cars. The vehicle can be transported vertically (up or down) and horizontally (left and right) to a vacant parking slot. The PLC used was Allen-Bradley MICRO 830. Ladder Diagram was used as programming language. The programming software used was Connected Components Workbench (CCW). IR sensor was used for the detection of cars and three motors were used for placing and retrieving the cars.
