Professional Experience
I am writing to apply for a position in your outfit as Mechanical Engineer. I come to you with an MBA Oil and Gas Management degree from Coventry University, London and a BSc Mechanical Engineering degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana.
My experience at Halliburton SAS as an associate tech-prof, completions, presents me as a valuable contributor to your company.
I possess practical leadership skills with experience from managing a team of six (6) students to successfully complete a simulation on running an oil company at Coventry University, London. In that exercise, I had to know the strengths and weaknesses of every member of my team to effectively delegate and follow up on tasks to meet the set target and deadlines. It was due to prior circumstances of winning the marketing debate, while leading a team of four (4) students, that I was appointed to lead the simulation. These series of events presents me as an effective team player.
Effective communication with regard to presentation skills and literacy in Microsoft office, Database, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access enabled me to effectively win the trust of my team members as I was able to clearly put across ideas during simulations and presentations.
As an Engineer, I have had the opportunity to lead teams to successfully complete tasks ahead of schedule as evidenced in my curriculum vitae.
Working in your company would provide me an opportunity to contribute to its growth and profitability.
