Reservoir Engineer Maracaibo, Venezuela
In charge of the Water Injection and Pressure Maintenance (WIPM) area of Boscán, with ~ 230 active wells, 18 injection patterns, net production over 58,000 bopd (> 50% Boscán total production and proved reserves).
Coordination with facilities & drilling for Water Injection and Pressure Maintenance East expansion, with 8 new injection patterns & 73 producers.
Lead SSAD process by maturing new well candidates thru planning, approval & execution.
Water injection base business (voidage replacement calculation, coordinate ILT campaigns, injection target rate). Part of Boscán reservoir simulation team.
Deterministic and Probabilistic water and oil forecasting.
Support production engineering to prepare workover jobs (nodal analysis, IP sensitivities & reserves).
Visit, when possible, field operations such as stimulations, PLTs, WSOs, gravel packs, and new wells drill.
Deterministic and probabilistic economics for different facilities (flow station and dehydration plants upgrades) and RM projects (new wells, water injection expansions).
