Electrical Engineer/Officer

Major Roles & Responsibilities:
.Responsible for trouble shoot, repair and maintenance of electrical systems LV/HV of all sorts on board.
.To perform timely and high quality trouble shooting to eliminate equipment defects initial stage to ensure safe and reliable operation.
.Responsible for the safe and efficient functioning of all the electrical aspect of the installation, including switching operations.
.To supervise contractors to strictly follow/comply with HSSE, PTW, OMS, Regulatory requirements, to achieve safety performance: no incident, no personal Injury.
.To lead and assure electrical ICCs (isolation confirmation certificate) are safely executed.
.To lead and ensure risks for all of routine maintenance tasks are well assessed, and all risk controls are well implemented.
.Responsible for trouble shoot, repair and maintenance of electrical systems in all DIESEL AUXILIARY ENGINES of MAN B&W MODEL: 5S28 LH-24 having POWER 1200 BHp@720 RPM- 800 KW and Emergency Generator of Cummins India Ltd. MODEL: NTA-855-D having 410HP@1500 rpm-300 KW.
.Responsible for trouble shoot, repair and maintenance of electrical systems in all GAS /AGO run BOILERS.
.Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Repair of Control Instrumentation, Fault Findings and Calibration of Motor Operated Valves, Flow control Valves, Electro-Pneumatic Valves on the LACT unit.
.Maintenance of different type of UPS and Battery Banks NiCad and Lead Acid,fire & Gas Monitoring System & extinguishing system with Point Infrared
Combustible Gas detectors, Open Path Gas Detectors,Heat Detectors, Fire Detectors.
.Preventive cum Breakdown Maintenance of E.O.T Crane and Electro-Hydraulic cranes.
.Operation, Maintenance and Overhauling of Vertical and Horizontal AC Motors and its Starters.
.Troubleshooting and Fault Rectification of MCC and PCC Panels.
.Maintenance of Power Transformer up to 11KV & Control Transformer and its Operating Systems.
.Familiar with the isolation procedures of all electrical equipment under the Permit to Work system (PTW).
.Performed and execute safety electrical Lock-out/Tag out and Energy isolation Safety procedures.
.Prepare spare parts list as per the equipment.
.Read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.

.Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering
.Electro-Technical officer's course.

.Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training.
.Safety Awareness Program with PTW and LOTO.
.Training Program has completed at SJVNL (NATHPA -JHAKRI HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER STATION 1500MW)
