Logistics and Materials Support to Offshore Exploration/Drilling Activities.

Over 15 years of proven experience in Materials & Logistics Coordinator/Supervisor.
Liaise with Offshore Drilling Supervisor regarding current & forthcoming operations. Discuss,agree & formulate a forward logistics plan pertaining to forthcoming materials & personnel requirements & associated timings.

Effective co-ordination with Drilling Rig, Drilling Engineering Dept, service personnel Store, Procurement Dept, Port Authorities & Customs and other agencies.
Quick turn as and of supply vessel to meet Rig Requirements and Ensure optimum utilization of OSV’s and Deck space.

Make sure right materials are supplied against requirement.
Coordinate with Rig, OSVs, and bulk plant supervisors (for Liquid Bulk & Dry Bulk) for supply of bulk and keep ready for future requirement.
Maintain steady communication with Drilling Engineering cell in HO for preparedness to meet contingencies and ready for future activities.
Provided round the Clock effective logistics support previously in RELIANCE (E & P) to DRILL SHIP - RIG – D534, RIG-DEEP WATER FRONTIER, ACTINIA, DD4, BLACKFORD DOLPHIN, and to RIG DISCOVERER INIDA.

Currently providing logistics support in BRITISH GAS for RIG-CHETNA, RIG-ENSCO-54,and PLAT FORM-PANNA & TAPTI.
Make sure the contingency plan is ready to meet emergency requirement.
To prepare the material required for the well as per the drilling section.
Good Knowledge in SAP MATERIAL MANAGEMENT with Inventory, Tracking & Consumption Booking for the Materials to the RIG.

Preparing the Cargo Manifest for the material supplied to the RIG through OSV.
Interact with the Service Companies for their next load outs.
Ensure Drill Rig operation runs smoothly with no time lost waiting for any material.

Check load list received via email from Off-shore Materials Supervisor for any omission for forthcoming requirements. Advise as necessary.
Check outbound manifest & vendor delivery tickets once received by email to ensure all forthcoming requirements are met. Discuss with Offshore Drilling Supervisor if in doubt.

Duty Officer is the single point of contact at the Shore Base for all the installations, operations department, Logistics department, C&P department and the vendors for the coordination of materials / Equipment receipt and dispatches.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (D.M.E )
Degree in Bachelor of Arts(B.A)
Automobile Engineering Technician (A.E.T)

Support to HSE Dept:
•To adhere and work as per the HSE laid policies and procedures.
•Lead HSSE awareness among the Shore Base crew.
•Direct the yard crew in rigging and slinging Offshore bound cargo.
•Conduct Tool Box Talks and issue PTW.
•Make necessary changes and amendment as and when required in the HSE policy with due approval from the concern authorities.
•Make sure to enhance personnel & materials safety around the work places.
•To verify proper test certificate for all Lifting equipments and maintain record of it.
•Keep records of all inspection certificates received.
•Ensure that all CHU's in base and going to Rig /installation are within test date
•Maintain Color Code of handling equipment used in operation.
•Maintain MSDS for all the chemicals and display on each material.
•0% Accident / Incident in Shore Base Operation by implementing HSE Policies around the work place.
