Position: SDH MW Transmission Backbone Support/Consultation
Job Descriptions:
- Remote consultation of Huawei MS contractor teams for Nokia Siemens Network backbone
transmission network.
- Commissioning, testing and acceptance with the contractor of Transmission backbone links
in different regions.
- Perform Transmission backbone weekly performance report and prepare the
presentation to Zain Customer.
- Ensure the monthly preventive maintenance task is performed by the contractors according to the scheduled date agreed based on the telecom equipments inspection list result.
- Hardwares and software upgrading recommendations to the Customer for backbone links.
- Analyzes of the link performance from NSN NetViewer and pinpoint the specific links that
are not according to the standard and acceptable performance due to excessive bit
error rates, then propose recommendations to the Customer on the improvement of the
transmission backbone network to increase performance and revenues
- Recommend plans to iliminate alarms introduce by the NSN transmission network links and
other plans to improve the backbone links performance.
