Prepares patient’s file in accordance to hospital & Insurance companies’ standard procedures & policies.
- Answer designated phone calls in a courteous manner, identifies self and obtains callers reason for calling prior to placing on hold.
- Responsible for file encoding and all kinds of data entries.
- Make appointment for outpatient services as requested, cancel and reschedule appointment as necessary.
- Verifies the patient verbally whether the neither contact details nor insurance information has changed since the appointment was made.
- Responsible for the efficient processing of patient through new patient and established patient registration.
- Identifies co-payment & deductibles for all outpatient services.
- Responds to questions and issues regarding patient billing.
- Responsible for arranging medical records accordingly.
- Collect faxes and distribute to provider on a regular basis.
- Responsible for coordinating the release of medical information to all requesters, including patients, physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Verifies authorizations & rejections to the insurance department for further confirmation in accordance to hospital policy.
- Coordinates to HR administration with regards to administrative tasks through emails and faxes on a daily basis.
- In-charge of the cashiering duties in the absence of the cashier.
- Prepares correspondence for administrative work.
- Obtain quotations for the basic needs of the hospital mainly general maintenance, laundry services, courier, office supplies, and meal for patients, etc.
- Reliable for being a substitute as a “Purchasing officer” in liaison with Procurement & Logistics Department.
- Scanning and filing of files for documentation.
- Coordination with Courier Services such as DHL, UPS and ARAMEX.
