Responsibilities:
 Reviewing the approved quality plan, Specifications, drawings and all applicable documents.
 Checking and reviewing the project materials with mill test certificate and confirm whether it meets to the project specifications.
 Checking weld joint preparation, fit up, alignment & dimensional inspection as per drawings.
 Witness of material inspection, Leveling, Plumbness, Peaking & Banding, roundness for Tank as per Code & Customer requirements.
 Discussing with the project manager, QA/QC Engineers, Project Engineers and Supervisors for daily project activities.
 Monitoring and controlling the calibration of welding machines, Electrode Ovens, Quivers, Digital Thermometers, clamp Tester, fillet Gauge, Hi-lo Gauge, Vernier Caliper, Micro Meter and other Instruments.
 Maintaining of latest ITP’s, procedures and drawings.
 Monitoring Welding activities as per WPS.
 Review of welding consumable Test Certificate (MTC).
 Visual inspection of welded joint profile, surface finish and defects.
 Witness of welder qualification test (WQT) and procedure qualification test.
 Coordinating with NDT contractor to carry out RT (X-ray/Gamma ray) UT, MT, PT as per required project specification.
 Monitoring PWHT, Hardness checking, PMI checking of pipe spools.
 Preparing the inspection documents like material inward inspection report, fit-up & welding reports, Pipeline work checklist and traceability.
 Witnessing hydro test and pneumatic test as per customer required.
 Monitoring & follow up of Quality documents as per ISO standards.
 Attending weekly safety toolbox meeting and follow accordingly.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
