1986-1988 - Worked on various ships as 4th Engineer
1989-1991 - Worked on Oil Tankers as 3rd Engineer
1991-1995 - Worked on Oil Tankers as 2nd Engineer (1st Assistant Engineer)
1995-2013 - Working as Chief Engineer on Oil Tankers - VLCCs, Suezmaxes and Aframaxes; mostly VLCCs.
Experience in Managment rank (2/E nd C/E) more than 22 years.
Eductation
4 year Graduate Course in Marine Engineering from Directorate of Marine Engineering Training, Calcutta, India (1981-1985)
Certification
Certified Class I Marine Engineer Officer (Motor) from Governments of India, Liberia and Bahamas.
Dangerous Cargo Endorsement (Oil), Management Level from the Governments of India and Liberia.
Certified Energy Auditor from the Bureau Of Energy Efficiency, Government of India.
Additional Information
Have experience with drydocks (8 so far, as Chief Engineer), familiar with all kinds of PMS software such as Danaos, ShipNet, Jobdriver etc. Have experience with all kinds of engines (propulsion, generation, 2-stroke, 4-stroke, Slow speed, Medium speed), High pressure steam boilers (65 kg, 95 tph) and rotating and reciprocating machinery, pumps and all kinds of marine auxiliaries. Have recently been certified as Energy Auditor by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India.
