Professional Experience
• Daily services to ensure availability of entire IT services to all IT clients;
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the IT regional groups to ensure the optimal operations of: WAN & LAN Infrastructure, Servers & Operating Systems,(Internet, Mail & Intranet services),Office Computers, Applications & Peripherals , Integration with Telecom GSM & GPRS Networks, Connectivity with Point of Sales Network, Connectivity with Data Service Content Providers, Office VoIP, Call Centre infrastructure including CRM, IVR, ACD & IPCC and Call Manager Internal and external security via systems and procedures such as Firewalls, DMZs, antivirus, anti-spam & anti-intrusion ,PCs & peripherals for internal office users, company sales outlets and dealers.
• Plan, prioritise and manage activities of staff in the regional IT group to ensure the delivery of the required contributions in terms of providing Asiacell with operational solutions to the network and main application servers that support and enhance the business processes.
• Identify client requirements, needs and evaluate optimal solutions (hardware or software) weighing functionality, suitability and cost/benefit factors to meet end users support goals.
• Communicate with section managers and supervisors on business issues relating to software, hardware and systems improvement to ensure that high level of customer service and support is provided.
• Ensure and monitor rapid responses to Help Desk and support requests in order to keep down time to a minimum. Provides 2nd or 3rd line support and escalates problems when the team capacity and capability are exceeded.
• Convenes regular team meetings to keep staff informed of developments, initiatives and seek feedback on problems encountered. Motivates staff to optimise their potential and contribution to the achievement of overall business success.
