PIPING DESIGNER

1. Presently I am leading a team. Mainly involved in Designing of Piping layout, schemes. Checking the Piping layout, Piping Isometrics, developed by CAD engineers as per the standard codes & specification (ANSI, DIN & EN standards).
2. Design of IBR High pressure steam piping as per standard specs.
3. Design of pipe supports, hangers etc.
4. Estimating the piping bill of material with all the fittings. Selection of Material.
5. Interaction with Process design team to discuss process related issues.
6. Interaction with Projects team for the, technical discussion about brought out items.
7. Checking the equipment nozzle orientation. Placement of equipment in General layout plan.
8. Preparation of pipe line specification database which is useful to develop the 3D piping models using AUTOPLAN software.
9. Good command over developing the 3D model of entire layout using the AUTOPLANT software.
10. Visiting site for technical supports on piping.
