ASF Conroe 01/2005-10/2013 Conroe, TX Aircraft Maintenance Technician. Performed a wide variety of AH-64 Apache aviation maintenance and repair tasks that involve inspection, repair, assembly/disassembly, troubleshooting, overhaul and modification of helicopters to include major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components and related helicopter systems. Also performed operational checks and inspections to effectively troubleshoot system malfunctions. Repaired by replacing and/or adjusting components to obtain maximum operating efficiency of the aircraft and subsystems. A number of common and special tools were used which included calipers, dial indicators, tq wrenches, multimeters, and a variety of other measurement tools. Some of my duties included operator checks and services to include APU starting and diagnosing, and operating a variety of ground support equipment as required for maintaining aircraft. I regularly operated tractors, tugs, and forklifts. I developed and maintained a diligent FOD safety program for 26 months (2005-2006). In addition, I helped successfully restructure and maintain facility operating licenses for the Ground Support Equipment office (2009-2013).
