• Manage the area of UOP NHT,CCR Platforming and Penex-DIH Isomerization Units (23,500 BPSD) .
• Responsible for managing the staff of 50 engineers, making sure that the safety and production performance targets are met.
• 2008 – 2010 – Fully participate pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and shutdown activities together with EPC Contractor and Licensor. Manage the unit and staff during normal operation. Ensure all activities are performed safely and effectively. Demonstrated successfully all the above.
• Established area monitoring system including process monitoring, routine check and corrosion monitoring.
• Review/Establish operating manual system.
• Initiate and monitor/approve all maintenance activities in the area.
• Lead unit’s optimization/Energy saving activities including equipment optimization and process optimization.
• Manage any changes within the Area following the Management of Change (MOC) procedure.
• Prepare frequent training program and implement coaching for all engineers/technician within responsible area.
• Make annual management plan and provide guidance to staff to achieve Area KPI.
• Focal point for emergency situation, process/operation plan adjustment and turnaround activity in the area.
• Successfully established and maintained CCR CycleMax at Low Coke Operation, troubleshoot Penex catalyst poisoning by CO/CO2 and Sulfur, resolved corrosion issue in NHT
• Experienced and successfully resolved lots of Unit Emergency such as Total Power Failure, Platforming and NHT Recycle Gas Compressors Failure, Platforming Heaters Failure,…
• Refinery turnaround preparation coordinator for Production Dept in the 1st Turn Around (2011).

• Worked in UOP Naphtha Complex Process team.
• Review of EPC detailed engineering documents based on Project Specification.
• Leader of 10 Process engineers: received and distributed engineering documents, verified team members’ comments and sent to EPC Contractor’s Engineering Centre.
• Prepared for Area Operation: train new engineers and technicians on Complex process matter.
